Hypnotherapy Treatment for Paruresis & Shy Bladder Syndrome
Many people have experienced a degree of hesitation or 'bashful bladder' when about to urinate in a public toilet.
Indeed, public toilets with their close proximity to others can sometimes have a temporary inhibiting affect on even the most confident person.

Indeed, in extreme cases, paruresis can make it physically impossible to urinate anywhere other than at home.
(There is also a similar condition called 'parcopresis', which is the inabiltity to defecate when away from home or when others are near.)
Paruresis is an anxiety disorder that is known by several different common or garden names: bashful bladder, shy bladder, pee shyness being the most frequently used.
While not widely discussed, bashful bladder or paruresis is nothing to be ashamed of.
Indeed, research suggests that it is much more common than is generally acknowledged, with a full 7% of the population suffering from this condition in one form or another.
Though paruresis is often thought of as something affecting only men, the fact is that it can affect both men and women.
Sometimes, this condition can have a truly debilitating and incapacitating affect on the individual's life.
Chronic sufferers of shy bladder syndrome may find it extremely difficult to travel very far from their home.
Others may find it impossible to urinate in their own home if they can hear anyone else there.
The origins of bashful bladder syndrome are several and varied.
Often the person suffering from paruresis has experienced an embarrassing situation in the past which conditioned him or her to respond in this way when attempting to urinate away from the safety of home.
Such an event or series of events may be recalled, or may simply have been forgotten by the conscious mind and beyond access to conscious memory.
For others, paruresis itself is simply symptomatic of deeper underlying concerns and may be connected with issues of self-esteem.
Moreover, shy bladder syndrome can be part of a more generalized anxiety disorder, such as social anxiety.
Or paruresis may be indicative of an inner, deep-seated insecurity regarding sexual functioning, identity or orientation.
Yet if there is one common denominator with pee shyness, however, it would appear to be that everyone who suffers from it is in some way self-conscious in the extreme.

What is happening is that the powerful subconscious mind is functioning in a hyper-vigilant way when it comes to allowing the person to urinate away from the home.
Believing that the individual is in some way needing protection, it is simply doing its best to ensure the safety of the person by discouraging the free flow of urine.

I have the pain and pressure over pube area. Wont leave. Im scared.

First thing you'll want to get is some cranberry pills- not juice, but pills. If you can find the pills that are concentrated, even better. These things will clear out your system way better than any cranberry juice. If you're still having a UTI, you'll want to take 2 right away, and then after that, it's 3 pills a day, for about 4 days. You'll also want ot be sure to drink tons of water, to help flush out the bacteria. Also, since you've been on so many antibiotics, you'll probably want to ingest some acidophillus, which is the good bacteria that's normally in your urethra. You can get acidophillus in pill form, or you can eat it in live culture yogurt. HAS to be live culture. Normally these things alone will be enough to kick out the worst UTI.

Purchase some supplements from your local drug store, such as cranberry and garlic tablets to help fight the UTI. Cranberry makes the walls of the bladder slick so that bacteria has a harder time sticking to it. Garlic has natural antibacterial qualities.

I do believe if you have an infection, it will not just go away by itself. You may need to call your doc. If you leave this go, it will spread for sure to your kidneys (if it hasn't already) or even worse.
Call in the morning!! Please! This is not anything to mess with!
